TIRANA, April 14 – After a successful display in Kosovo, the “Fabulous” exhibition by Albania painter Helidon Haliti has traveled to Paris. The exhibition featuring Albanian tales, ballads and legends will be open from April 14 to 23.
Haliti brings symbols of boats and ships in his paintings, a parallel to Albanians seeking their destiny abroad. The exhibition is held in cooperation with the Albanian embassy in Paris.
Local media reported that a painting created by Haliti has recently become part of the collection of French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
A renowned painter, Haliti has participated in dozens of exhibitions in Albania and abroad, winning many prizes.
