Following the electrified performance one year ago in Albania, one of the former members of the famous group Deep Purple came back to Albania to put on a personal performance. This was drummer Ian Paice, who last Saturday performed a live concert at the Calvin Club.Piace was accompanied by the Italian Rock Band Matt Filippini Band, other guests in this performance were rock groups from Albania and Kosovo. The concert continued for ninety minutes with pieces from the repertoire of Deep Purple and closed with “Smoke on the water.” The organizers of this concert were Artkontakt and Charle’s Entertainment. Paice also met and talked to students of the Academy of Arts. (Tirana Times Staff)
