IDB gives loan for Orikum

TIRANA, Nov 10 – Albania has signed a $13.351 million loan with the Islamic Development Bank to be used for water supplies and other infrastructure in the small town of Orikum in southwestern Albania.
The Orikum project is also funded with $3.116 million from the Tirana government.
The 25-year IDB loan has a 2.5 percent annual interest.
The project is to be completed in four years.
Finance Minister Ridvan Bode urged Arab officials for further investment in his country.
