Internationally sought Albanian arrested in Vlora

TIRANA, Oct. 3 – A 32-year-old Albanian man who was being internationally sought by Italian authorities for attempted murder was arrested in Vlora on Tuesday.

Following the plan of measures for controlling the territory in order to crack down on criminal activity and groups, and based on information received in an operative way, Albano Cano, born and residing in Vlora, was arrested.

It is reported that on Sept.10, 2018, the 32-year-old was declared internationally sought by Interpol Roma after the authorities in Rimini issued an international arrest warrant for the criminal offense of attempted murder provided by Articles 56, 61, 575 of the Italian Penal Code.

Meanwhile, the materials will be sent to the prosecution of the Vlora First Degree Court for further actions.
