Intesa SanPaolo develops investment strategy in Albania

TURIN, Oct 20 – Italy’s Intesa Sanpaolo bank will develop an investment strategy to continue its expansion in Albania, according to Enrico Salza, head of the Management Board, talking to senior Albanian officials last week.
Intesa Sanpaolo has bought two major banks in Albania, becoming the second largest bank in the country.
Salza repeated his desire to operate in Albania while offering to serve the bank’s customers and, Albania, as a whole. He commented, ‘our way of banking was a confirmed winner even in these times of financial crisis,’ and has “proven as a key factor in maintaining the high confidence of our employees, our customers and our shareholders.”
