Italian company Marseglia to build energy park

TIRANA, May 20ؗork on the building of the Shengjin city “energy park” in Albania has been begun by Italian company Marseglia.
The 1.1 billion-euro invested in the project will go towards the construction of a liquid vegetable oil biomass power facility which will produce electricity, with 140 megawatts of power.
During his speech at the launch of the works Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha underlined how the construction of the park represents one of the biggest projects undertaken in the country, which is on its way to becoming a major player in energy production across the region.
