Jazz festival travels to Durres, Shkodra

TIRANA, July 18 – After performing for three days in Tirana, international jazz bands participating in the Tirana Jazz & World Music Festival 2012 will move to Durres and Shkodra this weekend.
On Friday July 20, five international bands will perform in Durres beach. The concert at the Belleview Hotel in Durres features Germany’s Trio “vinorosso.” Italian-Dutch Coljin Buis Quartet, Austria’s Michaela Rabitch & Robert Pawlik Quartet.
The Durres concert will also continue on Saturday, July 21 with France’s Trio Namouche and Switzerland’s Trio Ouizzz.
On Saturday, July 21, Germany’s Trio ensemble Vinorosso and the Coljin Buis Italian Quartet will be performing in the northern city of Shkodra at the Tre Jubanet.
The five day festival concludes on Sunday, July 22 with a concert by Kosovo’s Trio of Love at the Belleview Hotel in Durres. All scheduled concerts start at 8 p.m.
The Jazz bands from Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Kosovo and Albania performed in Tirana at the Rogner Hotel from July 18 to 20.
