TIRANA, May 26 – Jualiana Pasha, who is representing Albania in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, has qualified for the final round of May 29.
Speaking to reporters in Norway, Pasha said that qualifying for the Final was the most beautiful moment in her life, and she felt that Europe had become one family on stage.
Juliana competes with It’s All About You, a song written and composed by Ardit Gjebrea and Piro Cako.
Juliana Pasha’s carrier started at the Albanian Radio Television Song contest in 1999. In 2000 she was awarded with the Vace Zela prize as the best young vocalist, and almost every year she has won different prices. She’s working on her first album with Christian songs.
The final night will feature the 20 singers who qualified in the two semi-finals along with automatic finalists France, Spain, Great Britain, Germany and Norway.
Televoters and a professional jury in each country have a 50 percent stake in the outcome.
Balkan countries had a strong showing in the first Eurovision Song Contest semi-final with Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina all passing through to the final round.
