On the occasion of Enhancement of Business Cooperation Slovenia-Albania forum, KULT 3000 art gallery will open Proximity exhibition on March 4, 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Slovenia and ECPD-International Institute for Sustainable Development, Urban Planning and Environmental Studies in Ljubljana and supported by Franc Bogovič, a Slovenian member of the European Parliament

Proximity Exhibition will display 35 selected paintings and sculptures by Albanian and Slovenian artists from the collection of Kalo Gallery in Tirana, Albania.

“People need each other, irrespective of their cultural differences. They live in different places, but everywhere they have a neighborhood, a society, a school or a working place to share. People hate borders and artists picture them on canvas or sculptures giving them just the human shape. The art works of this exhibition have been selected to illustrate how important nearness and togetherness are to people,” according to Kalo Gallery. “One can see from their faces the sharing of secrets, concerns, efforts, love and spirit of challenge. As human beings, other living things need each-other close. It may sound strange, but we have seen how non-living things like nearness, too. We see how beautifully houses can stay near, in close proximity.”

Among the artists that will participate are Admir Pervathi, Agim Faja, Anastas Kostandini, Andi Spahia, Andi Nallbani, Arben Bajo, Buron Kaceli, Dashamir Turku, Edi Hila, Elio Bajramaj, Emanuel Koko, Fatbardh Kalvari, Gazmend Leka, Hasan Nallbani, Igli Jorgo, Ilira Caushi, Ilir Pojani, Isuf Sulovari, Lucka Koscak, Llazaraq Tili, Mentor Shehu, Muslim Mulliqi, Natasha Bega, Rexhep Ferri, Romeo Kallco, Sadik Kasa, Sali Shijaku, Siro Muhedini, Shkelqim Kokonozi, Sytki Brahimi, Valdet Hamidi, Veli Blekcori, Viktor Ferraj, and Zef Shoshi.

This is the 7th fine arts exhibition of KALO Gallery and the 1st outside of Albania. The exhibition will be open until March 13, 2016.
