Kosova team to disarm mines arrives in Albania

TIRANA, March 24 – A military unit to disarm mines has arrived from Kosova to assist Albanian authorities in cleaning the area affected by the March 15 explosion at a military shell disposal factory which killed at least 22 persons and injured more than 300.

The Kosovar team, part of the Kosova Protection Force, specializes in disarming mines and it will help the Albanian army to check and clean places near forests and near homes in nearby villages.
