TIRANA, Oct 21 – Lower oil price in the world have also been reflected in Albania with a 5-lek fall, something which hardly reflects the fall in the world market.
A diesel liter still costs 147 leks from 152 leks before at a time when the oil price in the world fell from $147 to roughly $70 per barrel.
That means that the price in Albania is about 15 leks ($1 = 90 leks) more than that in neighboring countries or Europe.
Wholesale businessmen say they expect the price to fall to $60 per barrel and then the price in Albania may also fall by 15 leks per liter.
