Macedonia Parliament Speaker Georgievski visits Albania

TIRANA, Sep. 15 – Macedonian Parliament Speaker Ljubisa Georgievski held an official visit to Albania last weekend, invited by his Albanian counterpart Jozefina Topalli, during which he met with all top officials in the neighboring country.
With Topalli, they discussed bilateral relations, the situation in the region and Kosova, as well as integration into NATO and the European Union.
Together with Croatia, the two countries have created the Adriatic 3 charter which is supported by Washington along with efforts toward full NATO membership.
NATO, the EU and Kosova were also the main topics during his meetings with Prime Minister Sali Berisha, President Bamir Topi and Defense Minister Fatmir Mediu.
