TIRANA, Aug 4 – Health authorities are expecting answers from a lab in Romania to confirm that 11 more are infected with the A/H1N1 virus following eight previous positive cases.
Health authorities say that the cases are easily treated and only two of them have been hospitalized.
Authorities expect that about 100,000 citizens may get infected from the normal flu. They had previously said probably one third of the population may be affected by a common or the swine flu infection this autumn. They add they have the situation under control.
They recommend the use of the normal vaccine.
The local media reported that up to 10 million euro will be needed for the swine flu vaccines but they were still not available to the health authorities.
