KRUJA, Oct. 10 – Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu museum in Kruja has attracted some 34,000 visitors during the last three months, or 6,000 more than a year ago. During summer the museum stayed open more than normal to cope with the influx of visitors. Museum head Medi Hafizi said there were groups from all over the world interested to have a look there from Portugal, Switzerland, Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Japan, Austria, and many other countries. During September there were some 400 visitors from the United States in organized visits. There have also been students coming from Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia and naturally from Kosova. Kosovar visitors living in European countries have brought their friends there to visit the museum. The ethnographic museum located at an old house of 1764 has also attracted many visitors.
