TIRANA, Oct 20 – Albania’s National Food Authority was created to secure a safe food supply in the country.
The move is also a precondition as part of the country’s integration efforts into the European Union.
The NFA will also make efforts to increase the level of security of food products sold in the country, including having secure packaging, clear expiration dates on packages and labels printed in Albanian.
