TIRANA, April 29 – Health Minister Nard Ndoka said today that building private hospitals would be the solution to help resolve problems plaguing medical care in the country.
Ndoka said that the government would support building of new hospitals with 30 percent of the cost.
“That is a necessity and an emergency solution at this time,” said the minister.
The post-communist country is suffering from a lack of proper medical services in the public system, where poor Albanians are reportedly obliged to pay large bribes to receive medical care.
