Oda Dibrane gives prizes

PESHKOPI, Nov. 13 – The nationwide folk festival Oda Dibrane awarded Monday many prizes to the participants coming not only from Albania but also from Macedonia and Kosova. Shkodra cultural center was nominated as the best followed by that of Burimet e Sharrit, Tetovo (Macedonia) and the Gernec one from Vlora. Career prizes were received from Beqir Truma with Ulqini ensemble since 1964, Koco Vasili heading Lunxheria group in Gjirokastra and Burimet e Sharrit head Remzi Aliu. Prizes were in the form of an emblem in copper with the Oda Dibrane written and funded by the Dutch embassy. The 12th Oda Dibrane festival is the second most important after that of Gjirokastra.
