They underlined the need of further development of the economic and regional cooperation.
The premiers expressed readiness for further cooperation in all spheres, particularly on possibilities for boosting the economic cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement of the Macedonian government after their meeting.
Gruevski and Berisha also discussed on the possibilities for inter-assistance to and mutual support of the Euro-Atlantic integration processes of both countries.
Gruevski, Berisha and Kosovar Prime Minister Hashim Thaci later attended a formal academy in Skopje, organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of the unification of Albanian alphabet.
The activity of this historic event was organized by the Macedonian Government.
In Manastir (Bitola in Macedonia now) Macedonian deputy Premier Abdilakim Ademi and Local Government Minister Musa Xhaferi unveiled a memorial plaque, while the Macedonian Post service issued a stamp with motifs of the alphabet, participants and the house that hosted Manastiri Congress in 1908, when the alphabet was unified.
