Police arrest alleged thieves, forgers

TIRANA, July 26 – Police have increased their attacks on individuals or groupings committing different crimes.
In capital Tirana police arrested two persons for committing a series of thefts in Tirana, Durres and Fier. They are believed to have stolen cars and other properties.
Three other persons also in capital Tirana were arrested as main suspects of stealing materials from private companies.
Two young men were arrested as the main suspects of the theft at an apartment.
While Albend Novruz Xhelili, 46, was arrested after he was caught with 35 banknotes of 5,000 leks which were fake.
Femi Rexhep Nexha, 28, was arrested after an arrest warrant was issued for him for committing the crime of producing fake documents. For that he was sentenced to six-month imprisonment from the Durres district court.
