TIRANA, June 20 – Police have already prepared a plan to secure tourist areas during the summer and manage the large influx of tourists throughout the season.
Tourism remains one of the main sources of income for Albania.
Many tourists come during the summer season usually from neighbouring Kosovo and Macedonia.
Traffic, resulting from an increased number of vehicles, remains a big challenge to police.
All police departments around the country have been equipped with the proper management plans for the summer.
They are also closely cooperating with their Kosovar counterparts to manage the inflow of tourists in north-eastern Albania.
