TIRANA, July 18 – Police arrested one of their officers for forcing two women into prostitution. Arjan Hoxha, a police officer in Tirana, was arrested late Saturday at a hotel near Kavaja town together with two women, 16 and 23 years old who worked as prostitutes and had been paid 100 Euros. The teenage girl was released after questioning.
Hoxha had served as their pimp. The arrest followed a three-month investigation on the case. It is believed that Hoxha had been working as a pimp for several years.
