Prosecutor’s office starts investigation of fuel smuggling

TIRANA, Oct. 13 – The Albanian Prosecutor General’s office reported they had already started the investigation of allegations on fuel smuggling.
That was started from the former economy minister Dritan Prifti, who said that police deputy director Agron Kulicaj was involved in fuel smuggling.
Police denied any link on that.
Following that opposition Socialist Party insisted that authorities had to start its investigation.
But on Wednesday it seemed that the prosecutor’s office was voncinced to start the investigation, first with questioning of Prifti.
They also urged the population and the poltiical parties or politicians to immediately report to them any alelgation on any corruption case.
