TIRANA, Dec. 10 – A Vlora court decided last week to extradite Albino Prudentino to Italy.
Prudentino is wanted by the Italian justice authorities, who accuse him of a series of illegal activities linked to the Sacra Corona Unita mafia organization.
He was arrested on September 29th in Vlora, where he owns a number of properties. Prudentino was arrested in Albania following a request from Italy.
Prudentino denounced the court procedures claiming they had violated his human rights.
But he accepted extradition saying he would prove in Italy his innocence.
