Rama elected in leadership of Socialist International organization

TIRANA, Nov 23 – The main opposition Socialist Party leader Edi Rama, also Tirana’s mayor, was elected as head of the commission of the Socialist International Council on southeastern Europe.
The party’s leadership considers Rama’s election to be confirmation by European leaders of the success of political parties in Albania.
