Rare picture makes Albanian mountain peaks visible from southern Italy

TIRANA, Dec. 10 – Italian photographer Trono Cosimo has managed to bring a clear picture of Albanian snow-capped peaks viewed from southern Italy through the Otranto Strait which is only 45 miles from Albania. The clear picture, which can only be taken under special weather conditions also features a boat in the Karaburun peninsula and has gone viral in social networks.

Back in 2013, Roberto Rocca, another Italian photographer, also managed to take a similar picture showing Albanian mountains from Salento of Italy’s Apuglia The Strait of Otranto which connects Albania to Italy through the Adriatic is 70 km long.
