Restoration school to open in Albania

TIRANA, Sept. 17 – A funding of $1.5 million of the Italian government will be used to open the first school of restoration in Albania. It will be supervised by UNESCO. Some 17 foreign professors, mainly Italians from the restoration center in Rome, will work at the school.The Institute of the Cultural Monuments believes that 20 students from Albania and some more from Kosova will attend the school. Students will have graduated and show interest in the restoration. It is believed this school may serve for the Balkans as well. It will last six months
