BUCHAREST, May 25 – The European Union integration processes of Albania and other countries in the Western Balkans has received a strong support and push from Romania, Greece and Bulgaria.
“We adopted a joint declaration regarding our commitment to the European prospects of the Western Balkan countries,” Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi said last week after a trilateral meeting in Bucharest.
The declaration was sent to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele.
The integration prospects of Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be discussed at a June EU-Western Balkans’ summit in Sarajevo.
