Serbian mafia ranks 8th in the world, ahead of Albania

BELGRADE, Jan. 5 – The local Serbian media reported that the Serbian mafia was ranked eighth in the list of world’s strongest mafias, according to the London-based Daily News and the Spanish Diario, just ahead of Albanian and Jamaican mafias.
The term mafia and the entrance onto the chart is granted only to those criminal groups which take part in organized crime on the territory of several countries and which fight for monopoly over illegal activities such as traffic of drugs, weapons and other illegal activities on a world scale.
