TIRANA, June 23 – Six regional theatrical troupes are participating in the first Balkan Theater Festival which is being held in the Dodona theatre in Kosovo capital, Prishtina.
The event kicked off last Monday with the stage of a play directed by Albania’s Inida Gjata.
Theatrical troupes from Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia are also participating in the festival.
Organizers say the first edition of this festival is very important in exchanging experience.
The festival’s director Sunaj Raca said the jury will award six prizes including best actor, actress, director.
The festival will close on June 26 when the prize award ceremony is held.
