TIRANA, March 24 – Snow last weekend temporarily blocked traffic in northeastern Albania.
In some areas, sudden snow accumulated up to one-half meter, blocking buses traveling from Kosova and also isolating some villages.
There were problems reported in others areas of central Albania when villages were cut off by the rising snow.
Bad weather also forced scheduled ferries not to dock at the country’s main ports for some hours.
