TIRANA, Nov. 9 – Spain’s most successful movies– having received the Goya Award, the main national film award in Spain– will be featured in Albania during November and December 2011.
Organized by the Spanish embassy in Tirana, the opening of the Spanish Cinema Season: “The Goya Awards” will take place the weekend of the Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of November at 18.00 at Cinema Millennium, continuing every Friday at 19.00 at the Academy of Films and Multimedia Marubi.
The Goya Awards, known in Spanish as los Premios Goya, are Spain’s main national film awards, considered the Spanish equivalent to the American Academy Awards. The awards were established in 1987, a year after the founding of the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematogr⧩cas de Espa
