TIRANA, Feb. 19 – Tirana is one of Europe’s cheapest cities when it comes to eating out, according to a report by Serbia-based Numbeo research company.
A three-course meal for two in a mid-range restaurant in Tirana costs around 19 Euros, one of the cheapest in Europe.
Meanwhile, a meal for one person in an inexpensive Tirana restaurant is priced at 5.34 euros, yet ranking among the cheapest in Europe.
From sophisticated fine dining venues to restaurants with panoramic views or little-known, local eateries, the Albanian capital also offers an excellent variety of culinary treats, says the UK-based Culturetrip portal about Albania.
Back in 2013, the southernmost Albanian town of Saranda, known as the pearl of Albania for its beautiful pure Ionian waters, was named by the United States Price of Travel portal as the third cheapest beach destination in Europe.
