Two commune heads fired for corruption

TIRANA, March 2 – The Albanian government fired from the post two heads of communes in Tirana district. A penal case has also started for them.
The government found out that Kujtim Qefalia of the Dajti commune and Sinan Shala in Gose, Kavaja district have covered part of their properties and income. They have hidden thousands of square meters they have bought recently.
Another official of the taxation administration is also sued for hiding the income, which is believed, is secured in an illegal way.
