TIRANA, Feb. 6 – This week marked the departure of another great artist in Albania. Ibrahim Madhi, a violin virtuoso and professor at the Academy of Arts in Tirana for around four decades passed away at the age of 68.
Madhi was a soloist and first violin of Symphonic Orchestra of the Albanian Radio Television, the Orchestra of the State Ensemble and the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet.
Friends, artists and politicians paid tribute to him at the Academy of Arts before he was buried on Wednesday.
