TIRANA, July 18 – Edlira Qyshka, a costume designer at the National Theatre in Tirana, has been selected as the winner of an 80-day Artist in Residence programme on young artists in Vienna. Qyshka, 28, will be part of the Artist in residence in Schloss Laudon, Vienna, from July 10 to September 30, says the Culture Ministry.
Qyshka has been working as a costume designer since 2007. Most recently she was also a designer in the Skanderbeg opera last June which made its comeback at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet after 44 years.
