TIRANA, Nov. 17 – Seventeen troupes from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia have been selected to participate in the pan-national Albanian drama festival. The festival will kick off on Sunday, Nov. 10 with the premiere of the “Endrra e Ismil Qemalit” (Ismail Qemali’s dream) paying tribute to the country’s independence leader. Albania is participating in the event scheduled for Nov. 10 to 21 with the host National Theatre in Tirana, and the theatres of Durres, Fier and Korca. Kosovo is participating with the theatres of Prishtina, Mitrovica, Peja, Gjakova and Ferizaj while neighbouring Macedonia is represented by the Tetovo and Skopje theatres.
