On 13 and 14 November at Regio, Calabria in Italy, the 19th edition was held of the International Award for Poetry “NOSSIDE”, which takes place every year in Italy and in Cuba. 526 poets competed from all over the world.
Miranda Haxhia, Albanian author of several volumes of poetry, novels, short stories and literature for children has won second place.
“I was so excited when I was awarded the prize. The evaluation of my work and the interest in it, intrigued and moved me deeply,” says the poet. The Mayor of Regiio, Calabria did thye honours.
“The Emigrant,” is the title of the poetry with which the author competed and won.
