“The Rhapsody of the Blue South” is one of the best and most representative works of painter Fatmir Velaj which is part of his monumental cycle, “Memoirs from the future.” This is an accentuated abstract work, freedom of expressions and original articulation, features which make the painter very special. They contain a very rare colour intensity, are full of spontaneity, vibrant and pulsating, but there is also a great deal of harmony and joy.
