Many arrests this week for drug trafficking, other crimes

TIRANA, March 15 – Police arrested Gazmir T쳳halla, 34, resident in Kuk쳬 wanted for drug trafficking. In another operation police arrested Ervin Y, 24, Rushit G, 20, Dorjan O, 23, Klredion H, 27, and Eduart Gj, 21, all students, for trafficking marijuana. After questioned they were let free. Elidon Fehimi, 35, a policeman in Vlora, was arrested Wednesday when found with 103 kilograms of marijuana at his car. Hana ȡusholli, 51, was arrested for producing false documents in collaboration with another suspect. Lindita Sh, 33, was arrested for trying to produce a passport with false identity terms. While Shqiponja Selimi, 22, resident in Kavaja, was arrested for prostitution. She worked at a hotel asking for 2,000 leks for an act. Edmond Gera, 39, resident in Tirana, was arrested for theft
Zef Pali, 50, resident in Tirana, was arrested for earning illegally a pension after taking a fake document from Shpetim Ahmetaj, who had been arrested before for producing fake documents.
Geri K, 16, in Tirana was charged for drug trafficking but he is still wanted as he managed to escape police. Together with some other friends he tried to take 30 grams of marijuana into a prison in Tirana. They had hidden drugs into a pair of sport shoes sent to a prisoner.
Marte Mirijaj, 49, was arrested for presenting a fake graduation document when she had required a U.S. visa. Ruzhdi Suli, 44, was arrested for trying to travel to Mexico with fake American documents.
Gentian Sopoti, 25, was arrested for stealing money and other items from a woman in a bus. Dilaver Degjoni, 54, resident in Tirana was arrested Saturday after he quarreled and beat another person. Zambake C, 22, resident in Lushnja, was arrested for prostitution after she was caught in the act with a man.
