BERLIN, March.12 – The Minister of Tourism of Albania, Bujar Leskaj participate din the International tourism fair held in Berlin. The mister said that European tourists still have to discover a place which can be considered insufficiently explored. Albania’s stand at the fair was organized by the National Tourism Agency. Abundant information and promotion was ensured by several photographs, CDs, DVDs, tourism guides and other materials. In his speech the Minister Leskaj discussed the national strategy for tourism as well as the latest initiatives in cultural tourism. The key to successful tourism is the combination of a preserved nature with historical and cultural monuments. Albanian will do everything to provide a stable investment environment for potential investors who want to see opportunities in the tourism sector. In the government program for 2005-2009 there are three main outlined sectors for being prioritized: agriculture, tourism and exports.
