SHKODER, TIRANA, March 25 – Police managed to stop smuggling of considerable packages of cigarettes to neighboring Montenegro. One person, Skender Bajrami, was arrested and two others questioned for trying to smuggle 7,500 packages of cigarettes, 430 kilograms of tobacco, 200 packages with filters and some machinery to prepare cigarettes.
In Tirana police arrested Ernest Matija, 42, from Shkodra trying to take to the market 320 kilograms of tobacco and 80 packages of filters. Ndue Cini, 41, also from Shkodra, was arrested with 110 kilograms of tobacco, 80 filter packages and 1,000 packages of cigarettes.
