TIRANA, April 25 – British Council in Albania reported Wednesday that the t he young people’s network in Albania, Let’s Get Started organized a Project Fair at its offices in Tirana. The modern public space of the new offices in Tirana was taken over by young people, showcasing their work in areas such as citizenship, information, environment, etc. The event was entirely designed and organized by the network itself and 10 different stands were set up representing the work of 10 different local youth clubs operating in the 10 biggest cities of the country. During the day, representatives from funding agencies, youth NGOs and other partners in the field of youth work visited the stands and discussed with the young people future plans and cooperation opportunities. Ana Dervishi, head of Beyond the Barriers NGOs was surprised and impressed not only by the ideas and quality of projects implemented by the network but by their contagious enthusiasm. Since its launch in summer 2005 the Let’s Get started network has grown considerably and raised its capacities via a number of training and learning events organized by British Council.
