TIRANA, May 15 – Interior Minister Bujar Nishani met Tuesday with the U.S. Ambassador to Tirana, Marcie B. Ries, to discuss further strengthening collaboration and aid from the United States in the fight against organized crime, money laundering and illegal trafficking.
Though not officially put in the statement, the minister also discussed with the U.S. ambassador the upcoming visit of U.S. President George W. Bush to Albania June 10, as well as the security measures for his visit.
