TIRANA, May 17 – Four persons were arrested this week at Tirana International Airport after presenting false visas. Blerim Kruja, 22, from Shkodra, and Arlind Buca, 23, from Tirana had false Greek Scheghen visas, while Gentjan Ermezi, 23, from Ku谶a used a flase passport. Eduart Koci, 29, from Tirana, tried to leave through the airport for Italy using false documents. Also, Astrit Bruci, 36, from Burrel was found with fake stamps in his passports when trying to cross Rinasi airport.
Zamir Povata, 39, was arrested after it was found an international arrest warrant had been issued charging him with an alleged murder he had committed in France where he was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment. Artur Kazazi, 32, in Tirana was arrested after found with a stolen Porsche Carrera 911. The car was reported stolen in Italy last year.
Ermal Xhika, 23, a resident of Ku谶a and G컩m Xhaferri, 25, living in Tirana, were arrested after found in posession of pistols. Flamur Hoxha, 21, was arrested on Saturday in Tirana with a small Minizastava pistol. An Italian identified only as V.D. was also sued for trafficking in a BMW X5 car that was reported to have been stolen in Italy earlier this year. Xhenis M, 15, and Elton H, 13, were arrested Monday in Tirana after they had tried to rob a U.S. citizen T. K., 21, and Xh. B., 21, who were with a religious mission in the Albanian capital.
