Drug fight remains top police priority

VLORA, May 26 – Police continue to work to in fighting drug traffic in the country.
In southwestern port city of Vlora, police destroyed some 1,600 cannabis sativa plants found in the village of Kocul. Police are now seeking those who owned the plants.
The drugs were planted in an isolated part of the area. In a separate operation, police arrested two Albanians. Milo Malo Serjanaj, 54, and Jaup Sali Jaupaj, 52, both residents in Lapardha vilalge, Vlora, where the two were found with some 30 kilograms of cannabis and had also sequestered four boats.
