Spanish Art on Music Day

Spanish art and culture were at the center of attention of 21 June activities to mark International Music Day. This activity brought the great Spanish guitarist Oskar Herrero, Master of the Flamenco to Tirana, where he appeared in concert at the amphitheatre of the Academy of Arts and which resounded with the music of the Flamenco. These two musical events are to be accompanied by the screening of the film. “Iberia” at the “Marubi School of Film,” and the music of the flamenco is the central subject.
21 June is known world wide as International Music Day which dates back to 1982 and the organization in France of “The Festivity of Music,” an initiative of the then Minister of Culture Jack Lange. In Albania 21 June, as the International Day of Music began to be marked thirteen years ago with the organization of a series of musical activities and massive concerts.
