TIRANA, Nov. 22 – Ina Rama was appointed by President Bamir Topi to the post of the Prosecutor General following the dismissal of Theodhori Sollaku.
Rama, 35, a resident in the port city of Durres, graduated from the Law Faculty of Tirana University with excellent results. She specialized in civil law.
She started to work in the judicial system as a judge in 1996.
She then followed the School of Magistrates where she was also classified as the first among the best, the presidential announcement said, and also supported from her professors.
Since 2005, Rama has served as a judge at the Appeals Court for Grave Crimes.
Rama has followed many professional qualifications.
Rama speaks English and Italian.
She is married.
