Italian Prime Minister to visit Albania and sign extradition agreement

TIRANA, Nov.29- The Italian Prime Minister, Romano Prodi, will visit Tirana next Monday in order to sign an extradition treaty with Albanian authorities. The news was made public at the meeting of the Council of Ministers this week. The treaty is signed in the context of a joint effort to fight crime. Albanian Prime Minister, Berisha said that similar treaties are being planned to be signed with other EU and NATO members in order to increase the security standards for Albania.
