Head of Raiffeisen Bank in Albania resigns

TIRANA, Nov. 25 – Raiffeisen Bank in Albania announced that its head, Steven Grunerud, resigned from his post without giving any reason for his departure.
Grunerud has been managing the local bank branch since 2004 when it took over the former state-owned Savings Bank.
A bank statement said that the bank’s board thanked Grunerud for his contribution to achieving successes during his years as head of the bank.
Until the board nominates the new top manager it will be led by its managing team, a statement said.
