TIRANA, Dec. 5 – The Albanian Post celebrated its 95th anniversary Wednesday with a parade at the capital’s main boulevard Martyrs of the Nations.
Scores of postmen paraded on foot, bicycles, motorcycles or cars to hold a short ceremony at Mother Teresa square in downtown Tirana.
At the same time, hundreds of pupils and students exploited the moment to send their postcards for the New Year festivities.
The Albanian Post has undergone an intensive rehabilitation, now offering many more services to its citizens.
